Before you go
Many AME churches keep a recognizable Methodist liturgy while adding gospel music and spoken responses from the pews. Ask the church office about dress and timing if it is your first visit. For current service times, check bethelame.weebly.com or phone +1 570-341-0754.
The listing shows Sunday hours of 10 am to 2 pm, which lines up with a morning service. Wednesday evenings (6 pm to 8 pm) are listed too — worth asking whether that is Bible study. Listed hours sometimes mix office and service times, so double-check.
