Before you go
Many AME churches keep a recognizable Methodist liturgy while adding gospel music and spoken responses from the pews. Ask the church office about dress and timing if it is your first visit. Before you go, confirm times on stjohnamecstl.com or by calling +1 314-361-8236.
Sunday shows as closed in the listing, which almost certainly means the hours are for the office, not services. The church appears to keep a staffed office on weekdays. Listed hours sometimes mix office and service times, so double-check.
