Visiting Jerusalem AME Church
Many AME churches keep a recognizable Methodist liturgy while adding gospel music and spoken responses from the pews. Ask the church office about dress and timing if it is your first visit. Before you go, confirm times on jerusalemame.org or by calling +1 301-877-1772.
Oddly, the listing shows Sunday as closed, so those hours probably describe the church office rather than worship. There is also an evening slot on Wednesday (7 pm to 8 pm), a common time for Bible study or prayer meeting. Listed hours sometimes mix office and service times, so double-check.
